HOW TO COMPRESS A VIDEO WITHOUT QUALITY LOSS





HANDBREAK  is a free open source software that helps to compress your large video file footage without a noticeable quality loss. The quality of the video is maintained while downscaling in size

which  is pretty great to use. It is very easy to use and everything come at a click of a button . it is also customizable according to the user needs.

HandBrake: Open Source Video Transcoder use this click to download it. It works both on windows and macos as well as linux

after installation of handbrake/ it may ask you to download latest version of dot net to open the app. download and install microsoft dot net.

Lets see the steps to compress a file



1. decide whether you are going to  compress a folder of files or a individual file. 

select accordingly to your option and import the folder or file 


2. Select your prefered preset according to your video. the software will automatically detect and auto select it for you. but still make sure it is correct according to your requirements

as you can see here you can customize your video you can set the range you want. but most of these edit were finalized in premier pro. so mostly there will be no changes. i m skipping these settings. if you want you can change them.


3. Go to the video tab and select the frame rate of your video. 






4. Set your quality constant. it dertermines the quality to the size of the video. make sure it is not too low or too high.it is advisable to keeps the scroll in between 19 - 24. You can customize it however you want. for best and optimized results these values will work perfect\


5. select the encoder preset from fast to slow or slower or placebo.it will decide the time to encode. the faster it is the faster the process finish but the output will be less efficiently compressed. the more slower it is the more efficiently stored. 


6. you can play with remaining setting to your suits.


click start encode to start the encoding process. 

here is your video compressed. see how much gb it is compressed and how happy you are.
